Yes, during our first rehearsal, I impaled myself on the drum hi-hat stand trying to avoid a speaker. Missed, 2 stitches… But before going to the hospital, we still drank the end of rehearsal beer. Don’t make fun of it !

Why this instrument in particular?
I discovered the guitar through a friend, who played a lot of metal. He brought his guitar one day to high school, for fun, and I immediately thought it was incredibly cool ! We had a music store next door, a Milonga (rest in peace), which literally became our HQ. A few months later I bought my first guitar, an Ibanez RG (which I still have by the way!)
What are your favorite styles of music?
I’m mainly immersed in Deathcore/Metalcore and somewhat melodic/technical Death. I think my first big slap in high school was “Trivium” with “A gunshot to the head of trepidation”. I think I really got into metal at that point.
And the second step a few years later, “All Shall perish” with “The price of existence” & “Awaken the dreamer” ! There it hurt !
In my compositions, I put a bit of all the styles I listen to. I try to do something that I like and I hope to convey emotions!
What were your old bands called? And what style of music did you play?
My first band was called “Agnosya”. We did Metalcore/Deathcore in the Paris region.
We will say that I cut my teeth with this group and attacked my first scenes, it lasted about 4/5 years.
We split and then reformed another group: “The virus’s pattern” just after, something a little more Neo/Hardcore where I started as a drummer, then switched to bassist!
Do you have an anecdote with the Enderr group? A major event ?
A lot of things, with among others, Xavier impaling himself on his Charley and Lili’s “Fat’ tartiflettes” (Editor’s note: Tony’s wife). But the coolest thing was our first gig. Already a concert after all this Covid period was great, and what’s more, after 6 years without being back on stage, it made me really happy!

Aurélien has no talent for jumping in rhythm so you have to accompany him (laughs). I’m kidding of course. Otherwise the homemade caramel pancakes after the repeat it dislocates !

When did you start music?
I think I must have been 5/6 years old at the time and I tried to start classical guitar with music theory lessons and everything that goes with it. I gave up pretty quickly (it’s complicated to hold on and practice at this age I find – it lasted 1 or 2 years anyway). Then there was an interstellar void until I was 20, when I started playing bass.
Why this instrument in particular?
Two friends wanted to start a rock/metal band and they needed a bass player. I was 20 years old, I liked the bass in general in music and so I took the plunge! A little trip to Pigalle in Paris to go shopping for instruments (yes I know there are a whole bunch of other types of shops too ^^) and my first bass was acquired! An Ibanez GSR200 from memory, black of course!

Metalcore, Deathcore, Punk hardcore, Roots Reggae and Dub !

Wow, there were quite a few ! If I remember all of them, as long as they had a name, there was : “Tradeth” (Rock/Metal covers – 1 year), “Brainstorms” (Punk Rock – 2 years), “Les épinglés” (Punk Rock – 1 year old), “Noise Korp” (Metal – 3/4 years old), Jennyka/Shooters (Rock – 5 years old) then now Enderr!!!! \m/__

To be original : The Hi-hat stand in the bust of Xavier ? (I didn’t even know that a round rod could enter a body so easily – without a natural hole beforehand ! ^^). But otherwise, between the table football games (to give Tristan a shake), the “tartiflettes”, the pizzas, the concerts (as a spectator and which end up in a suspicious Kebab because you’re too busy at 2 a.m. ), Enderr, it has become a family 😉
